Has anyone managed to get the Asset Editor to work? I’ve tried it on two computers, with both the developer tools sent to me and the ones I downloaded and I never get the ‘explorer’ I’m supposed to get. All I get is a blank route (as in the attached picture).
Has anyone had any luck with this?

Are you running RS in windowed mode? Apparently that helps when running the asset editor.

I still don’t have a copy of RS so I’m not much help.

Hi Richard,
I got it working, at least to view the Example Engines in the Developer folder. I found you had to click on the Export button first, and once it said Export was satisfactory, then you could preview the model.
By the way, I have put together an editor which will open several of the RailSimulator files so that you can view their internals, see my RS Tools at [img:2y8k4ru9]http://members.optusnet.com.au/virtualtrains/downloads.html[/img:2y8k4ru9]

– May be of some help to you.

Paul,
Yes, I’m sure that’s it. I tried to switch to windowed mode, but couldn’t figure it out.
