A Bug (Contain Huge image)

I see. So it is not the blurring that is the problem as much as that points are being shifted each time? If that’s the case then it probably is a video card driver issue. You might be able to find another texture resolution that works better for you. You could try either a one size larger or one size smaller texture and you might have better results. After you have unwrapped you can then scale the texture (using your image editing software) to the correct size.

Hi to all,
I’ve redesigned my space cruiser andquot;Avengerandquot; and when I create the UV Map, more times I use it more blurred the image become. I’ve attached a big UV Map to example (my English isn’t too good, I suppose… <!– s;) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!– s;) –> )
The up left group of faces are the first faces mapped and the most rightest is the last.

(Of course, I’ve transformed it in a JPG because the BMP was too big ;D )

Bye.

Yes, it does tend to blur. More with some video cards that others. This is just the nature of the implementation. It doesn’t normally cause any real problems since the blurring disappears (of course) when you paint the texture with your own colors.

Thank you for your reply,
the real problem is that I don’t really know where are the points, sometimes are traslated.

Well, I’ve bypassed this problem creating a copy of the UV Map and copying the faces into it every time I create new faces. Then I’ll copy the clean version over the old version, so I have ever a clean copy.

Bye.
