8.2.6 b1098 crashes on startup

.6 installs okay, but on running it, the splash screen appears and as it begins to initialize, Run-time Error 403 appears – ‘Class does not support automation or does not support expected interface.’
This occurs with both Win7 HP and XP sp3.

I’m pretty sure I know what it is. I’d suggest uninstalling for now.
