Log file for the operation ‘apply material to selection’

Sorry for the delay. I am sort of on ‘holidays’.

I have a new test version of 3DC 8.1.5 that may help track down the problem:

This will likely only be a ‘beginning’. It’s likely going to take a few tries to find the cause.

You might need to uninstall 8.1.5 before installing this version. I can’t be 100% certain.

This version adds details to the 3DC log for the application of the the ‘apply material to selection’ method of applying a texture.

Uninstalled 8.1.5 -andgt; cleaned up the dir -andgt; installed test version.

1 tex from the library + 1 cube + material operation – runtime 0 – crash.

1 tex from the library + 1 cube + fill = error #5 – crash.

Can you do that again with the material operation? (not the fill tool) It seems to only be a partial log file. Thanks.

Oh, and what build does it say it is? (from the help menu’s ‘about’)

Making progress. I think it is something to do with the loading of textures. I’ll get another new version ready today with more debug information.

I think I have it narrowed down to something that I can actually fix. One more version coming that should give me the answer.

I’m virtually certain I have it now. Thanks Bremen.

It seems to be a ‘language’ issue. It looks like some versions of the database I use accept non-English versions of ‘False’ in a SQL Select statement, and others don’t.

I’ll get out a version today that I think should fix it.
