I was unable to get the Animate Rods/Pistons plugin to work properly. It animated the wheels, but the rods rotate with them. Any subsequent use brings up a box labeled ‘TSRodz6′ which says ’91, Object variable or With block variable not set, CSScene’.
It’s possible the error 91 issue is resolved now, but I can’t be sure about the rest.
Hi Mike,
I guess you know about Paul updating the plug-in…

Let me try it with the latest – as of Tuesday…

Hi Richard,
As Mike stated – it’s still broken in 3DCrafter 8.2.3 Build 1061…
This is a NEW issue from the one I reported and Paul already fixed in 3DCanvas 8.2 Build 1600…

Scott
I think I must have broken something in the animation API. I’ll have to look carefully.
So, is the Error 91 happening anymore?
Hi Richard,
I didn’t get an Error #91 on my little XP Netbook… After I confirmed that it was broken – I stopped testing pretty quickly though…
Regards,
Scott
I definitely think the error is with animation in general. I’m having a similar problem with some of my animation generation code.
With b1061, I get the message box labeled TSRodz6, but the number is 9 instead of 91 and the message is: ‘Subscript out of range TDCScripting’. I get this message on the initial run of the plugin.
I’m struggling with this one. I can’t find anything wrong with the scripting for animation. I found a couple of issues semi-related, and they corrected some problem with animation with the Train Simulator Wizard, but not this plug-in.
Good news! The plugin is working properly now in b1068. Thank you!
Awesome. This one was stressing me because I had no idea what might be causing it. I guess it was related to something else I fixed.
