Hello,

Yes. As indicated in the help file :
GǣDraw modes can now be applied to individual views rather than to all views. For example, a perspective view could be rendered in outline mode, while an orthographic view could be rendered in wireframe.

Grid modes can now be applied to individual views rather than to all views. For example, the grid for a perspective view could be solid, while the grid for an orthographic view could be rendered in wireframe.Gǥ

Right click in a view at a place with no shape, you can select View / Draw or View / Grid to choose the shape or grid display mode.

Right click on a shape, you can choose draw options for the selected shape only.

I have just purchased 3DC ver 8.

I select solid grid with horizontal and vertical grids. I also select any of the draw options. In the primary (3D) window the scene is as I wish, for example a Solid outline model with a solid grid.

When I select any of the multiple pane views the model appears as wire frame model and the grid is also wire frame, yet in the primary pane the model is still solid with a solid grid.

Is there a means of choosing the type of grid and drawing in the elevation viewing panes or is there something wrong going on here?

Thanks for your help,

Mike.
