3DC ENG file for Diesels

Just to let everyone know. 3DC was unable to produce an ENG file due to a part not being identified with the Wizard. The Wizard must have produced an internal error and not recovered properly. Something that needs to be resolved in a future release.

In the mean time if you identify each part with the Wizard it will produce a usable ENG file.

Having produced a number of steam models, I’ve had no problems with the basic ENG file produced but now that I’ve tackled the first diesel, I find that the ENG created is unuseable….(examppe below)

There is no CabInfo, Intake, Exhaust or Heads Out info etc….
Is there some reason for this or a bug??

I finally got to testing this. I had to reformat my hard drive in order to revert to version 6.5.0.2.

A diesel ENG creation worked fine for me. It could be that there was/is a wizard setting that 3DC doesn’t like in your model and that is causing this. If you still have the original file that fails I would like to see it (<!– e –><a href="mailto:support@amabilis.com">support@amabilis.com</a><!– e –>).

Ok – I’ve actually finished the model from which the S and SD files are created ok and the model runs with no problem.
I’ve just re-processed the files through the TSW and it agian fails the ENG file creation so I’m sending you the file to look at.
I’m not sure what files you need but have included just the 3DC file. Let me know if you need any others.
