3DC 7 self-destructing with wireframe mode

I’ll move this to the ‘bugs’ section shortly.

I thought this was just something crazy that ‘just happens’ but it’s been several times now and so far the only solution I found to work is to reinstall 3DC 7. Maybe someone can help me out.

I’m doing a steel mill complex and the grid size is prett large, usually 400-1100 feet. It happens every time I switch to an interval of 1 (say for roof placement offset) and I’m in wireframe mode. The resulting situation is 3DC hangs and eventually gives me the ‘not responding’ dialogue and I can exit. However, on restart 3DC hangs initializing view. I’ve tried a couple of things to no avail to just get 3DC to load (even to double-click on a previous model). Is there a means to get 3DC out of wireframe mode without having to reinstall? I’m using in Win 7 professional, computer specs are more than adequate. Thanks.
