3D Canvas 7?

Hello

I’ve used 3D Canvas 7 for a couple of years now and have created many assets for Railworks. However, on returning to modelling after a break recently I discovered that I could no longer download 3D Canvas 7 and instead had to use version 8.

On loading up a couple of my models I discovered that during the ‘conversion’ process most of the texturing had been stripped from them.

In addition to this, when trying to create models in version 8, the texturing technique from 3DC 7, ie the paintbrush tool now has very variable results – clicking with the brush on unrelated sides can completely change textures.

As you can imagine I am not very happy about this and I am not willing to destroy the textures by converting them on what amounts to a couple of hundred assets!

Can someone therefore please tell me where I can obtain a copy of 3D Canvas 7? Presumably my licence key (I have 3DC 7 & 8 licence keys) will still work?

I’m sorry for the long delay.

It sounds like perhaps something is not installed right. Or, perhaps the textures are not located where 3DCrafter can find them.
