Point selection tool? (Resolved)

I see that the help file is wrong for the Rectangle selection tool. To select points, you need to hold down 1 while selecting (2 for edges, 3 for faces).

I’ll have the help file fixed for the next version.

The first 3dcsg8.dll did not need regsvr32 but did not help regarding the problem either.
The second 3dcsg8.dll needed regsvr32 or 3DC would crash but unfortunately the problem remained after registering the dll.

That should have worked, I think. It looks like there’s no easy solution for me. I’m going to have to do some re-writing.

I’m absolutely certain I have this one ‘fixed’ now. As far as I can tell it is an ATI bug. I ‘fixed’ it by writing special code for non-ATI chips. It’s not as efficient as the NVIDIA code, but in practice won’t make much difference. Once ATI fixes their driver, I’ll change the code to use the more efficient version. But, odds are NVIDIA won’t fix their driver any time soon.

You mean:

Good news for those w/ an ATI video card …
… so I can stick to my prodject of upgrading 2 PCs with ATI 5770 (Nvidia GTX 260 is more expensive and may not fit into the small case with micro atx mother board).

Doesn’t it look like ATI hardware is better than Nvidia hardware but the situation might be the other way round as far as drivers are concerned?
