I wonder if it is possible to create a script or plugin that will color the new faces created during a boolean operation? The alt+ctrl face select would allow you to clean up all the odd faces that appear more quickly, leaving just a few points to weld?

Kindest Regards, Jack

Not sure how you could decide what is a new face but subtracting one coloured object from a different coloured object gives part of what you are requesting.

Also if you change the display to Solid Outline you can see the points that need welding.

Right Click ‘Weld to Nearest’ is your best friend <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –>
