Hi
In version 7 I can type the argument r0arg0=64;r0arg1=0;r0arg2=0,4 in the RailSimX slot and TrainGlass.fx in the RailSim box and I get can glass effects in RailWorks.
As soon as I type this argument into the Crafter RailSimX box, the program crashes.
I am doing something wrong or is this a problem with version 8 <!– s:? –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt="

I tried this in 8.2.6 and it worked ok. But, I might just not be doing things in the right order.
Can you give me detailed instructions on how to reproduce it? Thanks.

Hi
Sorry for the long delay in picking this up. I have tried this again with varying success but have eventually managed to get a glass effect of sorts which is greeny/yellow tinged which I think is down to the RGB settings in the alpha channel (based on another report). I am still using version 7 for my current modelling work and dipping in and out of Crafter to get a better feel for it so I have not yet progressed with the glass effect.
One thing I have noticed, but it may just be my fancy, is that Crafter seems to sort itself out the longer it has been installed. My initial problem with the entered argument happened a couple of times and then all was OK so there is an indication that the program is learning from its mistakes or perhaps all required components are not installing correctly and require use before they work properly.

I will call this "resolved" then. I’m pretty certain that it is. If I’m wrong, you can always resurrect it.
