ok, hi all, an interesting observation with the IGS files, not sure if its happening at export or when you import back into 3dc, but the textures are all mixed up and moved to different parts.
For example I have a model. that has 3 main textures, plus the bogie and primarynumber textures, if I import the igs file back into 3dc parts that never had the primarynumber textures now do, and the polys that make up the numbers have different textures from the primarynumber texture ones.
bit hard to explain….

Yes strange, I noticed this to on one of my models.
All textures get mixed up all over the loko.
I must happen with import of the model, because after export it looks ok in Railworks.

Same here. I re-imported an IGS model of one of my coaches and the texturing was all mixed up. I hope this can be fixed as I find re-importing models is convenient when I want to adjust LODs.

ok, I can post a pict, the models nearly a month further on now, anyway the import still gets messed up. not the model but the textures,[attachment=0:1j9ukb6r]<!– ia0 –>tank.jpg<!– ia0 –>[/attachment:1j9ukb6r]
if I export the model as IGS, you can see fairly well by the texures on the numbers on the inset, they are ok, 876 54321 etc
Import back to 3dc the IGS file and the textures are everywhere. the numbers are now 43210 etc

This is how it looks after importing the IGS file
[img:10zyox5n]http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/2858/vt95after.jpg[/img:10zyox5n]
Texures that do look in the right place, seem to be washed out.
IGS models exported with 3DC7, import fine in 3DC9.
