Viewing the other side (s)

Thanks, I knew it had to be something simple. Problem is, I am still only using 10% of the available functions and buttons and stuff. I must try one new button each session to see what it does.

When using the 4-panes view of a model, is there a simple way of viewing the other side of a model in the X, Y and Z views other than spinning your view around in the top-left view, which is not very accurate, or phyically turning the model around, which is a lot of effort? I find accurate placement and lining up is best done in these views on the side I can see, and then done more by guess work on the other side.

Yes there is. Right click on the view and select View-]Orthographic-]andquot;View you wantandquot;.

I’ve had 3dc for nearly a year now and am still only using 30% of it ! (and Richard adds new andquot;stuffandquot; faster than I can keep up <!– s:) –><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!– s:) –> )
