One thing would be to try and locate any documentation concerning the game engine that Need for Speed 4 uses, and how many poly’s it(the game engine) can handle, and create your model with that in mind.

I’m busy modeling a car that I would like to use in Need for Speed 4. Any tips as to what would be the best way of going about it? I think I might have too many poly’s , but on the othe hand it doesn’t look too good at the moment. I’ve still got to do the windows and the interior…
