Still playing around with the auto smooth function and found this…

start with a basic cube and extrude it out in a few directions – ’till you get a shape something like this…..

drag a few of the edges/points and faces around to give it a more organic look then invert the model.

Place your viewpoint inside the model, add a few textures, lights, etc and you have a cave….

(rendered in carrara studio although it could of been done inside 3dc/pov)

I really like this one Alan. Very inventive imagination and use of lateral thinking.
