This is a little off topic, because i don't know if 3D Canvas can help me with this. But, does anyone know anything about programming for ps2 Confused? Like what programming language does it use? Also, can you just burn some kind of ps2 programming to a disk and it can read it, since the ps2 can read cd-rs anyway?
Thanks to anyone who knows.

Maybe nobody knows exactly. Smile

The problem is that you wouldn't be able to distribute or market a product for any of the Game consoles without a licence from the developer. And for this you would be looking at Mega Bucks.
This is one of the reasons why the game console games are so expensive.

I think there is some extra hardware you can purchase for your PC that converts your code so it will work on a PS2 and produces a PS2 compatable disc for you. But again this is likely to be expensive.

A couple links for you:

http://playstation2-linux.com

(no more North American sales tough)

http://www.devnet.scea.com

(expensive)

Other then that, you know know it runs on Linux!

If you're thinking about making a game, did you know that 3D Canvas does export to w3d (shockwave)? That might be a tighter fit...step away from the flash ;0
