Hi,

Any one know how to make a model photo realistic?  I am using the newest 3d canvas 5.7 and POV-RAY 3.5.

All my images look lousy, with gradients.

Thanks,

Marty

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but New Riders (the publisher) has a series out called [digital] They cover everything from character animation to lighting the scene to how to set up the camera to texturing and painting. Soon they'll have a book that focuses on compositing as well. The books are non-software specific, so they apply to the foundation concepts and how they might be used in a typical 3d rendering situation. I've purchased most of the books and I'm dying to get into them further. From what I've read so far they're an excellent resource.

Take Care,

Ben
