I know that it could be done better... I'll be doing another soon without all the problems I've had with too many vertices and all the bumpiness..

The background image is a mapped on an inverted sphere.. doesn't look too bad.

I have a bit of a soft spot for the Mustang. You've made a very fine representation there.

(Spitfire always comes first - at least the P51 was designed to an RAF specification originally Wink )

Any plans for more aircraft?
or MS flight sim models?

I'm starting the P-47D Thunderbolt and will then do a Spitfire IX after that. I upgraded to 6.6 and I like it already.. seems a little faster.

I'm partial to the Spitfire too.. a really wonderful aircraft.

I did get it to rotate, but it looked very jerky. So I'll be working on getting that right too.

I tried the inverted cylinder but was more pleased with the sphere.

Great looking plane. The background really sets it off well.
