mini robos... actually this model is pretty much one of my favorite models i have made.
i actually made it a few months ago but then used it for some of my short films. i personally like the simpleness in it, but yet it looks like it is menacing in a way.
-in one of the short films the police use these to follow a guy. of course they fly, but also the pin sticking out from the bottom emits an electrical current like a taser- i'll post one of those. also the pin can stick into things making it a stationary camera.

I can almost picture it hovering over inhabitants of a futuristic city keeping a watchful eye out for law enforcement.

Great work. Smile

thank you,

to phoenix-
the lightning and all the composit work is done in adobe after effects- another program i spend a lot of time in. i also got that grunge dirty look in it as well, and keyed my "mini robos" into the picture with the SWAT team member-which is actually me in this pic.

thanks again and if you could have other people critisize, because this is a "model feedback" forum.

thanks again,

-korben

well like i said -most of these , except for the first two are from the film. the blur is because it helps
1. to make the cgi characters seem to be in sync with the real action film.
2. the camera moves fast in this part- thereforea blur due to the movement

Looks good.

How do you do this ? Do you just take the models from 3dc into this other program or do you make an avi with 3dc then mix the results ?

There are 10 types of people on this world - those that understand binary and those who don't.

i make an .avi with a blue or green background and export it to adobe after effects. because as far as i know 3dc can't export video with an alpha channel
thank you very much
