Fantastic model Alan. I especially like the interior of the mouth and sculpted nose.

Any plans to show him fully textured at a later date ?
It would be interesting to see him, once textured, rendered in 3DC 6.6 with the new bump map render. Smile

A really nice piece of work Alan. Smile

I wonder if this is what Richard looked like when he was on holiday, and found his server had trashed the Web-site. Smile

Very good Alan. Just what I like to see.

Bazza,

Actually I was enjoying my trip so much that I didn't let it get to me. I thought about it when I had Internet available to me but not at all otherwise. I hadn't been out of North America in 10 years so I wasn't going to let a little thing like my business going under get me down Smile

Thanks for the comments.

Vulcan Foundry - no plans to texture although I might get around to it....one day Smile The whole idea of the model was to try the mouth area/tongue.

Kirk - long time no hear.... what you been upto ?

Blayd - I keep thinking about trying to do a tutorial as I have picked up quite a bit this styl of modeling - but it is just down to time....Frown

A.S. and Bazza - thanks again.

very good work Alan Smile as usual Big Grin
I'd also like to see a bit of paint on this lad.
At the moment I'm using 3D canvas to render a concept of my new garden I'll be working on shortly. I'll post up a few WIP pics.

Later
James

Hi Alan

I am mostly at renderosity website...that is where i post all my new work....I really only use Carrara now....I just got so use to it....I really wish 3d canvis had a great render engine...I whould have stayed with just 3d canvis because it is a fantastic modeler...o-well cant have it all Smile

Your work looks great.

Poly - I doubt I will get around to texturing. Just comment on your garden - I hadn't read that it was "yours" and I asked if it was or not ...
Kirk - I like looking over at the renderosity site (as well as a few others cgtalk, etc) but I would never dream of posting there. I like the carrara renderer but I will stick with 3dc for modeling and just import them over.
Thanks Les - I like this "high poly" stuff - you probably remember that when I came here I tried to keep everything with very low face counts but seeing as this is only for stills and not games who cares ? Smile
