Hi All,

I have had two reports of "black screens" or having "two versions installed at the same time"(not sure what that means actually). Has anyone had any similar problems?

I have had about three "black screens". When opening a new project, the model is usually too close in the perspective view so the first thing I do is zoom out. The BS happens as soon as I move the right most control of the navigation control. Everything is OK after reopening the project.

Yes, I have had it happen. I usually have two or three ways I work with 3D CANVAS. On my main system (Windows XP Pro with an NVIDIA 7800GS). Works great everytime. On my laptop with XP pro and a ATI Mobility 6800 it also works great.

I went to install CANVAS 6.6.10 on a spare laptop, (because I'm having some real older model conversion issues with textures) and got the black mainscreen after what looked like a good install.

The black screen is there by default and loading a model makes no difference. This apparently faulty install has an ATI mobility M3.

Now the quad view with the big main screen view works... in the OTHER views, not the main screen. If I select the equal quad view, I crash canvas with an error #91

re-installs get the same results.
