For some strange reason, I can't apply any textures to my models.  If I try to, it freezes the program.  I had this problem once before, and I forgot how I fixed it last time.  If it helps, the image is a 128x128 .bmp texture.  I would try a different file type, but the program I need to use the models in requires .x files with .bmp textures.  Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Have you tried the standard 3D Canvas textures? Do they work?

When you say it "freezes the program" do you mean 3dc of your other program ? If it is the other program then maybe it is because it (the other program) can't find the texture  Putting the texture with the *.x model might help ?

It freezes 3D Canvas, and I have to shut it down with Ctrl+Alt+Del.  The textures are already in the same folder as the model.
