I noticed that exporting a scene containing a single cube to x format using the File->Export menu, then importing it back using the File->Import menu, I get a scene having five empty frames and a far shifted cube, that is, the imported cube position is not the same of the exported cube position. So the imported scene is very different from the previously exported one.
This seems to me a strange behaviour, exporting then importing back the same scene should not change the scene during the process. I would suggest to avoid exporting the empty frames, that I suppose are from lights and animation camera, while I'm not able to understand why the cube is shifted.
The empty frames are the frames of the lights and the camera, which are exported empty of content. If you open the X text file, you can delete them manually for the time being.
