The "Horizontal Grid" is presently visible from both the top and bottom surfaces, but if I remember correctly, it used to be only visible from the top surface. Is this correct, or is my memory getting even worse? If this is correct, is there any way any way to display it the old "visible from the top only" way?

I like using the grid, however I find it very frustrating to rotate an object to view the bottom side and not be able to see anything without going to Options, deselecting the grid, viewing the item, and then having to go back to Options and reselect the grid.

Speaking of options - can anyone explane to me what the "Invert texture translucency layers" option does?

Have you got the "Render Two Sided" option turned on?
