i tried this and it does work pretty good but most other 3d modellers have a plane in their primitives, even milkshape has one and it only costs $25..if your in the middle of working on a very good model the last thing you want to be doing is chopping up a cube just to make a plane when you could just drag it onto the screen. dragging is a lot easier and faster..its the little things that save time especially if your married and work for a living. thanks for your input, pirate

Bazza,
Just the type of good suggestion that could be useful for a basic tool tutorial for beginners. Many things that are not obvious to beginners seem to be bigger obstacles than they really are. Create Face is a great example of what can be done to extend 3DC via a plugin. Thank you for posting this.

Yes, thanks for that! - and yes, there are a lot of things like this, that are not obvious to a beginner .. I'll go try to use it ^_^
Butterpaw I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes they all gang up on me at once!
