I only just got the 3d canvas Pro.
However even tho I run it on a
P4 @ 2.6 ghz with 1 GIG ram
with a 256 meg geforcefx5600 grphics card.
I find that it runs very slowly under direct X.
Would like to see support for open GL
AS I find open gl runs alot faster
with my other 3d programs.

Or is there a way to get 3d canvas running faster under direct X ?

EDIT: to write in the correct system memory I have.

My rig is slightly slower than yours, has less memory and a worse graphics card and yet it runs pretty smooth. Do you have the later Nvidia drivers along with the latest release of Direct X?

Yes use latest Direct X 9.0c and the lastest
Nvidia graphics drivers.

Well the strange thing is.
I just built myself a AMD Athlon XP 2800.
Which runs at a clock speed of 2 GHZ.
Still with 1 gig of ram.
But with a GeForce FX5200 with 128 meg video memory.
Tried 3d canvas on the Athlon XP 2800,
and 3d canvas runs alot faster and better.

One thing to check - make sure your desktop display is using 32bit true color before you run 3DC

Hi Paul.
I only have 2 settings for desktop.
Highest 32 bit
or medium 16 bit.
I use the highest 32 bit setting.
Just wants to run slow on my P4.
So I will just use 3d canvas on my Athlon XP2800
computer as it works better on the Athlon XP2800.
