I do alot of video projects for Media: Moving image course, sometimes I like to use special fx and overlays.

Alpha channel video export
Being able to export video overlays with alpha channel transparency (where the background is removed and saved as transparencey)would be a benefit as you can then import video into any/most video timeline editors and seamlesly overlay the 3D animations.

Simplifying suggestion:

• Easy navigation through your 3D world or creation would be a plus I think, has anyone used Cartography shop or for that matter 3D games? To be able to use the direction buttons to navigate through the scene would be helpful instead of a seperate navigation panel at the side.
  
  
• General layout simplification, use as example adobe's products: premier, photoshop,etc (similar buttons are grouped on a right click exspansion panel)
