Hi,

I miss the option of editing the tiling factor by mouse. For example you have a texture showing bricks and you want to fit this texture 'exact' to the end of the wall you need either lot of experimenting or need to do it by scripting. No way to to snap the last edge and make it fit to the edge of the face. Second use is to adjust the corners of O N E of the axis' to make odd shaped tiling textures. Today this can be applied by scripting too.

After applying the texture to the face, have you tried using the operation adjust tool?

This lets you tile/scale the texture using the mouse.

Yes,
very poor and unpredictable results. And yes, I tried the tutorial about texturing. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Times ago there was a topic about a platform texture having this problem. I suggested to solve it with scripting which always worked for me.

Hi Paul,
in addition I have to bee more specific. I would like to see some more functionality inside the UV-Remap Tool (the red Grid-Box) In case of tiling the far ends are in the rough or 'off' and touching them will make them jump back in the tile to size operation.

@Paul,

for better understanding I added an example with some sort of tiling which can not be achieved manually afaik. In that case I used trial and error for the settings, but I think it would be nice to adjust this with the mouse.
