I want to save objects created with 3DC to 3DS file format, so I can import to GMAX and save to Trainz.  Only thing is GMAX will not read the 3DS object, but will read DXF.  Pity as unlike DXF, 3DS maps the texture as well.  Maybe I should stick with MSTS and forget models for Trainz.  Too much to handle.
