I have installed version 5.04 and everything worked excellent until today. Suddenly it became impossible to texture wrap. When I try to UV map a face I get the error requester "UVMap2 (in the header); A texture is required for the UV Map operation." although there is a texture there! I tried different textures that used to give no problem, now same error; I "repaired" 3DCanvas, nothing changed, I reinstalled it, nothing. Please urgent help! What's the solution? :-[

Hi Richard,
The same things happenend to me. Just downloaded 5.04 and now cannot uvmap. I get the same error message as above. This was on a model started in an earlier version of release 5.
I have tried creating a model from scratch with the same results.

Cheers and a Happy New Year.

Very strange! I have no idea at all why this is. Hopefully it won't happen to anyone else or will happen to me so I can fix it.
