I was tweaking some sd and wag files when I stumbled across this, hadn't seen it mentioned earlier.

The dimension parameters created by the trainsim wizard seems to use the bounding box of the entire lod set rather than the bounding box of the Main model to calculate dimensions in the sd and wag files.

For example, if I have a 3m wide boxcar with 6 lod levels beyond the base Main model, the lod models being spaced 10m in x, the x dimension in the sd and wag files is 63m rather than the actual 3m.

A workaround is to position all the models at the same global point prior to exporting or editing the sd and wag files by hand.

I had noticed a similar problem with the sizes when you add smoke/steam/headout/etc points.

I usually only run the wizard once when the model is almost complete, before the LOD creation - after that, just the right click export is needed.

Hi Paul,

Hadn't thought to check the smoke/steam/headout
points on my motive power, I'll keep it in mind!
