Hi Richard,

Have been using the TSW on a steam locomotive tender.

I got confused when I selected the 'Inlet point' as I assumed this was the water inlet, however it is actually the coal inlet position.

As there are two available inlets on tenders, one each for coal and water, and I would assume most users would use the water one, if you are upgrading TSW at some time, please add the water one as well.

Thanks, Mike.

Hi Richard,

Yes, tenders consist of a coal bunker and a water tank (up to around 5000 gallons in the UK, probably a lot more in some of the big U.S. steamers).

Entries in the tender .wag file should be like

IntakePoint ( 0.528039 0.9898214 FuelCoal )
IntakePoint ( -2.3 2.0 FuelWater )

Mike.
