I've just upgraded to V7 and have come across a strange problem with trainsim wizard.
The model seems to export ok but when I came to use the consist editor (to make a consist) the loco did not appear in the list. Had a look in windows explorer and no folder for the new loco was visible. The strange thing is, that if I use shape file viewer then the folder appears in the correct place and I can load the loco into it!!!
If I search the drive, all I can find is a shortcut to the folder. If I try and open the folder via the shortcut then windows says that the folder doesn't exist.
I am using vista Home Premium

I can work around the problem by manually creating a folder, .eng/.sd files and textures etc. and then manually exporting via the right click option.
This one has me puzzled.

There are instructions in the new 7.1.1.3 Beta as to how to work around this. They are provided when you run the Wizard.
