Does anyone out there need some kind of custom drawing, decal, texture but doesn't have time to create it?

Let me know what you need and send a picture or some sort of spec and I'll be happy to do it for you. I have gobs of time everyday and spend most of my time tinkering with my graphics programs. This includes custom lettering, 3D graphics and anything else that you might think of. I can export it in the file format of your choice too.

Just send me a pm or an email and I'll be happy to start on it right away.

Richard T.

Hi Richard...

First off - what a nice offer... I do have one Logo I have been thinking of trying for a new locomotive I am building... It seems like it would be quite hard to duplicate... It looks similar to the old Rio Grande and Southern font... Bill Hobbs was going to try and scan a decal for me - however - since decals are quite small it may not have the resolution I need for my model... The logo in question is in the 2nd image on the linked post... "South Ozark Lines"... Really - before taking much of your time - just wanted to get your opinion if this is "do-able"...

Thanks for looking...

Hi Scott,

Here's a jpg I worked up. Will it do? I might have to do a little tweaking. It wasn't hard to do.

Richard.

Hi Richard...

Holy Smokes - that was quick... Looks pretty darn good too... I am familiar with PSP 9.0... There is an option to smooth - or - anti alias the letters... This almost eliminates the "saw tooth" effect on the letters... Would you program have something similar ??? I would not know how to get those curves in PSP... Yes - this will most definately - do... Thanks for the assist... Still have a few more weeks of texture mapping on my model... I'll be sure to give you a heads up when I get it out...

I have posted some pics on the Train Simulator forum here...

Thanks Again...

Regards,
Scott

Hi Scott,

Anytime. I used CorelDraw to make the shape but the jagged effect, I tried to smooth it as much as possible with RealDraw Pro. Maybe it will look better as a Targa or Tiff then it will be a vector graphic.

Hi Richard...

Thanks for all your help - gave it some thought - as I reduce the size to fit the tender - it will tend to smooth the image... It should look great... Any shot you could give me one more with a 1024 width ? The larger the image to start with - the greater the detail - and it should be even smoother when reduced... Absolutely no rush as I have weeks left to go...
I greatly appreciate you assistance with this...

Thanks Again...
Scott
