hey bazza,
i just purchased the full version of blitz3d...i have been using dbpro for the last 3 years...i finally got tired of all the bugs in the program and all the rude people on their forums...at one time you were posting some good tutorials here...i was just wondering if you could help me out to shorten the learning curve a bit...if you have any more tutorials or code samples or just anything that you think could help me out i would appreciate it...i like the fps tutorial you made and i am studying it..you mentioned in this tutorial that you could add a lot more to it if someone had the full version of blitz3d...thanks ahead of time for your help...i can understand if you don't have the time....pirate

thanks, Pirate

So you finally saw the light. Smile
As you say Dark Basic seems to be a good program spoilt by all the bugs that never seem to get fixed.

If you let me know what you are trying to do I can probably let you have some demo code but would need an e-mail address at least.
Many of my demo files are quite large but I should be able to cut some of them down.

yes i did see the light...blitz is really fast compared to dbpro...every time i updated in dbpro i would have to change the code in my programs to get them to work again and the collision system really stinks...anyway, i'm through with that...my email address is.....
if you need to break down the demos into parts and send them its ok...i can just unzip them to file...

thanks for anything you can give so i can study it...i appreciate it...i don't want to steal your code or ideas...i just want to study it and maybe use parts of the code...

thanks, Pirate
