The 3D Canvas Rail Simulator Export now optionally exports generated and custom levels of detail.


o) User Defined Fields for Groups

Custom fields for groups can now be defined by users. These fields can be used for documentation or as inputs for plug-ins and operations created by third parties.

The export no longer requires that each grooup contains an object. Empty groups are now allowed.

The export now correctly counts sub-groups and no longer gives the 24 group maximum error unless there are more than 24 sub-groups in a group.


o) Lighting Corrected

The lighting for scenes now correctly uses the Direct3D ambient and directional lights.


This version requires updated plug-ins, which can be downloaded on the plug-ins page.

This is a great realease...ambient light is back, yippeee.
The new installer for the plugins/ops/scripts also makes things much simpler now.
