Hi All,

The 3D Canvas 6.1 Release Candidate is available for download: http://www.3d-canvas.com/downloads/3DCanvas61RC.zip

The full "what's new" list is available here: http://www.amabilis.com/whatsnew.htm

What's new since Beta 2:

o) A new tutorial on creating MSTS distance levels is included in the help file. You can see it here also: http://www.amabilisplus.com/3DCanvasDocumentation/tutorialmstsdistancelevels.htm

Let me know if you think it is missing anything

o) The Unwrap operation now works.

o) The operations show/hide function now works.

o) Oriented modelling has had a few changes. There were some "preview" anomalies and a couple of other oddities that were fixed.

All plug-ins have been recompiled for 6.1 and are available here: http://www.amabilis.com/mediadownloads.htm#Scripts

Just a quick buggette. If you create a cylinder, select the top face and chamfer if by 20 something wierd happens to one of the points. Up to 19 it works perfectly.

I can't reproduce what you describe. Was this on a simple drag and drop - default cylinder? Can you send me a model that demonstrates this? (support@amabilis.com)

I have seen this in the past but only when chamfer was 50% and beyond. (Which is why I limited chamfer to 49.9%). And I did receive one report of a chamfer scaling problem.

It's just a standard cylinder. I've tryed to post a JPEG of what happens but I keep getting a server error - I'll try emailing it to you. It happens at different levels of chamfer depending on the longitude setting of the cylinder - it happens for a chamfer of 10 with the longitude set to 32.

I see it now. It wasn't obvious to me until I looked at it in wireframe.
