I "uncommented" out a those few lines I had commented out. 3D Canvas .NET is up and running, though very buggy. I'll take a break from it now and work on 3D Canvas 8.1. There are bugs to be fixed.

I got a bit side-tracked with .NET over the past week or so. I have it up and running now, though it still has problems. There's more to do than I thought, unfortunately. I'll have to do a fair amount of research. VB .NET simply is not as flexible for some things as VB6 was.
I've done a bit of research in converting from VB.NET to C#. It seems most will be easy, but the error handling is quite different. Nothing insurmountable though.
I see that I have more than 20 outstanding bugs to fix for 3D Canvas 8. So, I'll concentrate on those.

I made a slight detour from bug fixing to work on the ability to create .NET plug-ins. It looks very promising. I was able to convert the entire scripting interface to .NET without any errors, and the warnings will be very simple to fix.
I have to concentrate on bug fixing in version 8.1 before I work on this unfortunately. I'm very curious about this though. I'd absolutely love to provide the ability to create plug-ins in .NET. I guess it will have to wait.

how many ppl you have on your programming team? how many ppl on your support team? are you like the only one doing this?
if ya need some help you should hire some ppl to make it easier on yourself...
anyways id like a beta copy of this .net version as none of the other versions work on vista with directx 9-10 installed.

I noticed a very good change since 8.1.7 (may be it was implemented earlier but it didn't read anything about the change before some testing thses last days):
UVMap takes into account the Material palette settings: Flip texture vertically / horizontally; 90° left or right rotation.
