Using 3DCanvas and Paintshop Pro, I have completed my first project--a trackside freight station. It has been quite a learning experience but I don't yet have RS so it will be a while before my model appears on a layout. Though there are flaws in the model, I will leave them there as a reminder of what I went through to learn 3DC and PSP.

I have come to like 3DC over gmax, yet I wish we could use both utilities.

Now, onto my next project!

Regards to all!

Well done, the first one is always the hardest.
Are we going to get a screenshot?

yes very well done, I would be quite happy to convert to Railsim should you want release the model to the world.

The first is usually the one you will come back to over the years and tweak etc.

There are a couple of ways to include an image.
Perhaps the easiest is to just take a screenshot, load it into your paint app and save it as a .jpg image with a file size of less than 70K.
Then when you post, click the Add Attachment and navigate to the image file.

The other way is to use the Display Image icon but you need the image on a web site so you can supply the link.
If you don't have a web site you can use something like Image Shack to store your images.

My next project is a trackside storage shed which houses track maintanence equipment--such as are used in the U.S.

Will see how well I'm learning . . .

Best regards to all,
