An easy way to get a twist - maybe there are easier ways ?

Just thought of a better way....
Take a cylinder (8 sided) remove one edge (see picture) copy the new shape 3 times and join them together weld the near edges together remove the inner faces (we don't need them) add triangle to the inner top hole select all the top faces (or join tham all into one face) extrude shift the top face (I used 10 deg.) repeat the above two steps |
