not wishing to sound like Viz, but....
I generally save a small "snap shot" picture of the project with the same name as the 3dc file, this way in windows "display folder contents as thumbnails" allows me to "see" the file before I load.... sad ain't I :-[ |

Heh heh I love this .. I am doing it now - realize I had done it occasionally by happenstance.. but now .. quite deliberately every time - very cool ^_^

maybe Richard could add a "save a snapshot" option , or even change the icon to a snapshot (or would that be too small ?) ?

heh heh .. a nice idea (although an icon would be very tiny - thumbnails work well)
