In v6505 3dc just shuts down if I try the above with the windows "this program has caused an error and needs to shut down" error window blurb.
But the alpha is ok.

windows xp, gforce fx 5200 (5672 driver)

I noticed it affects only my notebook, which have drivers version X for Geforce 2 go.

This is fixed in version 6.6.
