Hi,
My model has a fairly big amount of object layers (Richard, you have a copy of a not too old version). I tried to select a Crease operation (about in the top 25% of object layers) on the left side (to avoid clicking on a check box on the right side). At this point, I expected to have the layer highlighted in blue with 3DC doing nothing. Nevertheless, 3DC starts doing some long work (3DCanvas.exe uses almost 100% CPU). It's so long that I have to kill the process. Doing the same actions on a model with few object layers is no problem. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Amabilis Support, |

Is this a model converted from a previous release? Is there a "checkpoint" layer above the layer you chose? If so, that would be the cause. Object histories are not entirely available for models converted to 6.6.5.
If not, then I'll need the model to have a look. |

It's a model started in 6.5.
However I don't see any "checkpoint" layer above the chosen layer. I'm sending the model. |

I have this fixed for 6.6.5.13 and 7.0.0.1. They will be released shortly.
If this model was started in 6.5 then there would have been a checkpoint. The only explanation would be that the checkpoint was deleted either intentionally or unintenionally. |
