I've noticed with 7.0.1.0 that when I select either a Group or Hierarchy that not all portions of the selection seem to be selected. For example, now when I select, let's say, the trucks on a locomotive as a group, the truck will be selected but the sub-groups 'Wheels0x" won't. Likewise when I select for hierarchy, only the first selected group is selected. I'm guessing that it's not selecting sub-groups anymore (as it did in my copy of 6.5xx). Has anyone else noticed this or has it been addressed in a recent update? So far it's the only 'bug' that I've noticed.

Thought I'd continue in this thread. I have another possible bug. This time it's in the Split Face plugin. I keep getting a Subscript out of Range error when I attempt to split a face from an object.

The split face is one of my plugins - I've seen this error with some objects in 7.0, I am investigating.

I'm not having any problem selecting a heirarchy. Do you have any specific examples that you can send me? (support@amabilis.com)

I'm not sure I have an example that could be sent. The specific problem I'm having is while modelling for MSTS. If I select the Bogie0X, Wheels1 through X which are subgroups (Children?) of Bogie aren't selected as well though they were with my version of 6.x.x.x. I've used this mostly by selecting the entire group - Bogie with Wheels - and adding to the object library. It was handy for reusing a Bogie. Also when I'm doing FreightAnims and I'm deleting what I don't want, there's the extra need to delete the Wheels seperately from the Bogies - really just an inconvenience. Finally I used to be able to select the entire Hierarchy and rotate it 180 deg. to generate a reversed locomotive. This was handy because Paul's Shape File Manager will flip a locomotive but the animation doesn't flip correctly with it. It was easier to do in 3DC and correct the animations there and then. It can still be done but there are a lot of extra steps now needed. I hope this explains what I was talking about.

When I do that, I get all of the items expected. If you can send me (support@amabilis.com) a specific example that doesn't work and the exact steps you followed then I can probably find a solution.

I believe this is not a problem in the current release.
