I installed 3D Canvas 6.6 on my XP, and when I try to run I get, "Run-Time error '32811' Application-defined or object-defined error" I can't seem to get it to work.

I'm getting the same message on my XP home system GeForce2, 1Ghz, Dx9.0b it happens before the splash screen appears.

The odd thing about this is that 3D Canvas doesn't normally display the "text" of messages. Just the number. That means that it is likely something other than 3D Canvas that is producing the error.

The log may well track down the cause.

I've added new diagnostics that may help track down this error.

Also, I'd be curious to know that the window "title" says on the error message dialog (not the error message itself).

I received a note from Paul that this can be resolved by installing DirectX 9.0c.

I can confirm that installing DirectX 9.0c cures the 92811 error. I couldn't get 3DC to run at all but now I have no problems. By the way the links to other 6.6 versions of 3DC seem to be broken.
