There is still a minor bug with Object Duplicate. It doesn't duplicate the texturing to the new object, and temporarily looses the texturing from the original object.
Start with a textured cube:
Duplicate it - texturing disappears from both objects:
Now save, exit and reload the scene. Original object is textured but duplicate is not:
It's back in 7.0.4.2 - when I clone an object, some of the faces of the new object are not textured, especially when I introduce a 180 degree shift on the y axis at the same time.
