There seems to be a problem when applying a texture to a single face.
If you apply a texture then select the object you get this... See attached pic. The dimensions jump to x = 4.476 y = 5.438 z = 1.000 Also if you check out the Properties an extra point has been added.. Faces = 1 Points = 5 You can correct this by using either the Consolidate or Optimize geometry operations. However if you apply the texture again the problem re-appears. If the face is divided the problem doesn't occure This seems to been happening with all the v7 releases, I've just installed 7.1 and it's still there. Couldn't work out what the problem was but I've just noticed the extra point. This message has been edited. Yes, I have noticed this, to get round it I leave a second face on the object and make it as small as possible.

This is fixed for 7.1.0.1.
Unfortunately, this could cause problems where subsequent operations don't apply properly. I don't quite know what choice I have though. It's a bug, and it needs to be fixed. I don't think it will cause any significant grief since it is so limited in scope. |
