Using 6.5.07
when I drag a new sphere to the scene, its size is 0.990 x 1.0 x 0.990 not 1.0 x 1.0 x 1.0 This causes bugs/crashes in a physics engine like 3impact unless I remember to use "scale to size" on it. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Amabilis Support, |

This isn't actually a bug. What 3D Canvas (and I think every other 3D program) does is rotate a point around an axis. The math can result in the widest section of the sphere not lying along the x and z axis. But the width measured from point to opposite point is 1 unit.
Changing the number of lines of longitude (double-clicking the object) will fix this. Usually just increasing the number by 1 will do it. |
