???
I outline a side view of the human head with the Extrude Tool. It looked good except the side surfaces were a bunch of triangles. Is there some code or technique I could use to merge all the faces on the side of this object. Thanks. -Jon |

There already is a "merge faces" plug-in that is available here: http://www.amabilis.com/mediadownloads.htm#Scripts
Just right-click on one of the faces (while if face and point selection mode) and pick "Select->by direction". Then run the plug-in. This may not be the answer you are looking for though. Once the face are merged you will find the resulting face will look awfully strange. 3D Canvas (and many other 3D Modelling Programs) requires that faces be "convex". The side of a human's face is most definitely not "convex". That is why 3D Canvas created the triangles. To make it convex. Richard |
